BWP typically refers to “Boiling Water Proof” plywood which is designed to be highly resistant to water and moisture. It is engineered with special glues and adhesives that make it capable of withstanding extended exposure to boiling water without delamination or losing its structural integrity.
BWP plywood is often recommended for applications where the wood will be exposed to moisture or high humidity. Be it climate/weather fluctuations or harmful sea water infestation, its uniform thickness with minimal core gaps makes it impenetrable.
