MDF Based Plywood
MDF Based Plywood
MDF, commonly known as Medium-Density Fiberboard, is an engineered wood product made from wood fibers and veneer layered plywood. The wood fibers are broken down into fine pieces and then glued together under high pressure and heat. This process creates a dense, uniform material with a smooth surface.
MDF is known for its consistency and is often used for applications where a smooth, paintable surface is desired, such as furniture making, cabinetry. It doesn’t have a grain pattern, which can be advantageous for achieving a uniform finish.
